Day 1: Trauma & Critical Care Conference
Surgeon William S. Havron III, MD, 2009 UT College of Medicine Chattanooga graduate, recounts lessons learned from the Pulse mass shooting event on June 12, 2016, in Orlando, FL. He is the Surgery Program Director at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Karen A. McQuillan, MS, RN, CNS-BC, CCRN, CNRN, FAAN is a Clinical Nurse Specialist at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland and past President of AACN. Karen will deliver her presidential address—Courageous Care—as well as present Management of Acute Spinal Cord Injuries.
Day 2: Cadaver& Skills Lab
An Expanded Cadaver Lab moving to 18,000 sq ft Exhibit Hall will apply lessons from Day 1 lectures. New Core Cadaver & Skills Lab Stations with alternative skill options will provide learning tailored for each attendee.
