MOBILE RMCC

The Mobile RMCC is designed to duplicate the communications capabilities of the Regional Medical Communications Center. Designed specifically as a Medical interoperable Communications Center, it is equipped with a 3-position dispatch console system with VHF , UHF, 700/800 MHz capabilities for both conventional communications as well as access to the TVRCS and TACN systems. Additionally the unit is equipped with aviation AM band transceivers and amateur radio capabilities in HF through 70cm. All radios are pre-programmed to meet interoperability requirements of Tennessee’s statewide interoperability plan. A cross-band interconnect gateway adds to the units ability to function as an interoperable mobile communications center. A cache of cellular telephones, laptops, portable public safety radios and portable amateur radios round out the communications resources.
