SPECIAL OBSERVER PROGRAM

The LIFE FORCE  Ride-Along Program (also known as Special Observer Program) allows providers in our service area the opportunity to experience first-hand our operations by flying along with the f light c rew. Applications will be accepted for EMS, ER,  ICU, public safety communications and other first responders including law enforcement  personnel.  This program runs from October through April.

The following are  requirements for Special Observers:

• You must be 18 years of age or older
• You must be an first responder or law enforcement officer from a  LIFE FORCE service area, currently working in EMS, ER,  ICU or Public Safety.
• No propensity for motion sickness, claustrophobia or vertigo
• You will be required to attend a of Special Observer Orientation program.
• Due to aircraft configuration, there is a maximum weight limit of 230 lbs
• Limit (1) ride annually.

Please understand that we always have a very large number of individuals that want to participate in this program. It takes time to process all of the forms that are submitted. There is no need to call or email asking about the status of your application to participate.
