Emergency Communications Specialist
Our Emergency Communications Specialists manage high-volume communications in a high-stress EMS Communications environment. They are responsible for LIFE FORCE Flight Coordination, FAA Part 135 certificate Flight Following, Erlanger Helipad Operations, Disaster Response Communications, Regional Medical Communications Watchdesk and EMS Mutual Aid Coordination in the RMCC. - Advanced EMT (required) or Paramedic (preferred)
- Licensed in Tennessee prior to Orientation Completion
- Mininum of (2) years public safety field experience or (2) years emergency communications center experience
- 911 Center or Air Medical Communications experience (preferred)
- Exceptional data entry skills necessary for Call-taking and Flight coordination
- BLS / ACLS / PALS appropriate for EMS licensure is required
- Certified Flight Communicator preferred (provided after orientation completion)
