FLIGHT NURSE QUALIFICATIONS

·       3 years experience as a registered nurse in a high volume emergency department or ICU/CCU

·       BLS Provider (Instructor Preferred)

·       ACLS Provider (Instructor Preferred)

·       PALS Provider (Instructor Preferred)

·       PHTLS, ITLS, or TNCC Provider (Instructor Preferred)

·       Nationally Registered AEMT or Paramedic (AEMT required, Paramedic preferred)

·       NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Prior to orientation completion

·       CEN or CCRN (Prior to orientation completion)

·       CFRN (within 12 months of hire if not successfully obtained as specialty certification during orientation period)

·       Must obtain one specialty certification prior to orientation completion (i.e. CEN, CCRN, or CFRN)

·       Licensed in TN, GA, NC, AL as RN & EMT - Prior to orientation completion

·       One year of pre-hospitalEMS experience preferred

·       BSN or MSN preferred
